Thanks gghosting 03-24-2005, 03:10 PM This is the first HostingCon. There were no HostingCons in the past years. sirtwist 03-24-2005, 03:19 PM As gghosting said, this is the first time HostingCon has been held. I will say, however, that we'll have a lot of really good pictures AFTER the event. :) Shaw Networks 03-24-2005, 09:36 PM Originally posted by sirtwist As gghosting said, this is the first time HostingCon has been held. I wish it were more, you'd think having your own forum section here would churn out some more sign ups. sirtwist 03-27-2005, 04:45 AM 600-750 attendees is actually a pretty good number for the first year. We hope to grow in coming years, but even then we want to keep it at a manageble size. Shaw Networks 03-27-2005, 04:55 AM Thinking about it 600-750 people would be better than something like 1000-2000 with the convention floor packed and busy everywhere. UH-Matt 04-02-2005, 10:08 AM 600-750's gonna look busy ;) DaWiseMouse 04-02-2005, 07:26 PM Everyone harrass Sirtwist to post the pics we shot of the hotel the other day.. We were there meeting with all the important figures and took some shots of the mezzanine which has the bars and restaurants but also alot of sitting areas, several of them couch and chair combo's with coffee table centers but also alot of secluded table and chair setups along two opposing walls which will be great for small gatherings/meetings.. He shot the pics from his phone but they should look decent still to give yall an idea of what to expect..
