Alright..here is what I'm looking for.

I need someone pretty familiar with PHP and MySql....knows how to use PHP to access MySql Databases, display them, create databases with MySql, etc...

SO...somebody that knows what they are doing :)

I know how to work w/MySql Databases, and am "familiar" with PHP, but that is mainly looking at existing code, and being able to figure it out...I need someone that KNOWS how to program ....

I'm looking at creating an Ensim add-on that will allow MySql Database creation, more than One database, depending on the type of user account...

Nope :)..but here's the deal. I'm very familiar with Ensim...

I also know a little C++ and Visual Basic..so I could tell you what NEEDS to be done, but you would have to do it..

Alright, back to Ensim...

I'm looking at possibly offering this to other people. I know there are a LOT of Rackshack customers, and a good amount of them Resell, as many reading this post right now do, and are *probably* looking for something like this..as right now you have to manually add everyone...

Anyway, I would install the scripts that whoever is interested makes, and they would get most of the profit..minus a little bit for me installing the scripts...

So no upfront cash..and possibly none down the road..but from what I've seen, quite a few of these could be sold...

and at $25-40 a server..I know I would be willing to pay that to never have to deal with customers asking for a MySql Database to be added..

I may be interested, however, I think you should go and actually ask bunch of hosts if they'd be interested in buying it instead of assuming they would.

MySQL addon. Trust me buddy on this one. Make addon for resellers. That would sell alot, which means probably all hosts using ensim would buy that. If you good with php and mysql why not just go ahead and make something big that sells big too!:D

Actually you would be wasting your time creating either one as Ensim will be releasing the new version of WEBppliance supposedly sometime mid april and will include a new Reseller's control panel and the ability to create multiple DB's. :D

If you would have thought of this about 6 months ago I agree it would have sold like hot cakes. But considering april is right around the corner I dont think the demand will be there.

Just my opinion.

You could alweays just start a poll in the hosting software and control panel forum
