Microsoft was just fined $100k for refusing to let msn customers quit, and thus continued billing them. Why can't they do this to web hosts who do the same thing?

In fact, some web hosts are even worse because at least with the MSN case, it happened only to customers who had changed their credit card numbers.

I for one would love to see Aitcom's ass fined.

Haha more like 100th of a cent to them.

I just did the math, and for a web hosting company worth $10,000.00 it would roughly equal a fine of $0.025.
