i get the information from ISP i want to Co-lo with them they say that 5 ip address per line what it mean?
is it mean that i have to used it 2 for my domain(DSN) and another 3 for my user?
and control panel that allow me to select whether i want to give ip to user or not ...control pane will take ip address from the rest(left 3 more) or it can find from another where else??
i'm not understand??
and ISP have optional $100 per 1 more IP ... is it mean that if my user want there own IP i have to pay $100 to ISP or control pane can take it from somewhere ?
thank

I sense a language barrier here, but $100 for 1 Ip addy sounds very fishy to me.
OK let it like this
IP address is comming from ISP? or control panel can find it? is it depend on number of IP address that ISP give to me or control panel can give me IP (and i give to my user) as much as i want?
thank

Lets do things this way:
1) Add the IPs to your IP POOL.
2) Setup User Accounts as Name Based.
Wallah everything is running :)

zhai,
Could you post the url of who you are thinking of colo-ing with?
Or just PM me with it.
Maybe we could help you understand it better if we knew what you were looking at.
But, to answer your question, "IP address is comming from ISP? or control panel can find it? is it depend on number of IP address that ISP give to me or control panel can give me IP (and i give to my user) as much as i want?" It is dependent upon your ISP (if I am understanding your question).
Although, again, I'm not sure I fully understand your question.
is it right?
ISP give me 5 IP address i have to use to for DSN 2 and i can give to my user only 3 and the rest of the user have to used name based and if IP address is not available control panel that i used also can't give or find IP address for the user it will be forced to used name based right?
if it is not right please make commend

Careful now, unlimited data transfer sounds very fishy.

well it wont be unlimited by definition as you cant have a pipe of unlimited width. its probably just unmetered but capped by reality i.e. t1 rate times 24 7.
i guess they are onlyletting you have 5 ip addresses per line. i.e. they are only going to let you have 5 ips for each physical connection \ line you have. so yeah two for dns and then id have one for namebased andthe other two charge a premium for customer who need ssl \ anon ftp etc.
id check up on how good they are tho, it may be an unfair prejudice but i wouldnt believe they were reliable enough compared to us \ uk solutions until i was presented with the figures to prove it.

You can use the same IP address for the primary name server and name-based hosting.

I think his question is this: Where do the IP numbers come from, or, the other way round: Where can I get them.
The ISP provides 5 IPs and using the control panel they can be assigned to servers, I guess that's how it works (never had to do such things myself,...)
Now the question seems to be: Is there an alternative source for IPs? Can IPs be "made available to the Control Panel" in another way than by purchasing them from the ISP? Can one purchase them cheaper at some "third party IP provider" and then have them routed so they become available to the Control Panel?
thank for all again
and sorry for my english
