View Full Version : best ppc and domain registration service: Fabulous vs Sedo
Ferman 03-22-2005, 11:40 AM I have moved from sedo to fabulous.
Fabulous Customer Support is excellent. They make you feel that they care about you. They answer all your questions in a few hours. I feel better when i know who i am talking to, it makes me feel there is a friend who wants to help me, not only a customer represantative
Fabulous clicks make more money than Sedo
Sedo s clicks make 0.03 to 0.10 generally
Fabulous s clicks make 0.22 to 0.40 generally
Fabulous domain statistics script works perfect. You see where the traffic is coming from and you see if the search engine spiders visited your site lately
you get a wholesale domain registration account, the cheapest i have ever used
Fabulous is fabulous !
Regards,
Ferman
Ferman,
I am glad that you are satisfied with Fabulous. Have you also tried other Parking Programs Afternic and Domain Sponsor offer?
Keep up the good job Fabulous.
Bashar 03-23-2005, 03:41 AM amazing, makes me think to test them.
ever tested domainhop? some ppl says its good too.
btw whats the bulk registration price at fabulous?
Ferman 03-23-2005, 12:37 PM I have tried DomainHop. Pays more than Sedo but less than Fabulous. Customer support is not customer oriented. Fabulous customer support represantatives accept you as their friends and try to solve the problem honestly. Have you ever met a customer represantative asking you what you did at weekend? and telling you what he/she did. System works perfect at fabulous. You have two choices. If you let them manage/optimize your domains they pay you %75 of total revenue. If you want to manage your domain by yourself they pay you %50 of total revenue. I preferred they do it for me because they know what works better and which keywords pay better. Their success also brings you success. Even you choose they manage your domains for you, you can share your ideas about the category/keyword etc...
wholesale domain registration price is $6.75 per domain
You can register your domains using the money on your account, via paypal or via credit cards
fabulous have useful tools for domainers. domain generator, whoislookup, expired domain lists, domain appraisal tools, traffic control tools...
if you say " i do not have 100 domains in my portfolio" , but if you also say "i have high quality traffic domains" , then send your request for an account and wait them to check your domains potential
Bashar 03-23-2005, 07:36 PM i better give them a try then :D
Thanks!
Bashar 03-23-2005, 08:07 PM btw does it need the domain to be registered at their registrar to use their parking program?

I do not think so. (Of course they would probably like that)
Bashar 03-23-2005, 08:32 PM dropped their support an email lets see what they respond.
Bashar,
Please inform us after you receive anything. Keep us updated :)
Bashar 03-24-2005, 07:25 PM got this
Thank you for your email.
Please note that due to an upcoming weekend and public holidays, the Fabulous office will not be fully staffed until the 30th of March, and there will therefore be a delay in responding to some matters.
For this reason your application for a Fabulous wholesale account can not be reviewed by the Fabulous team until then.
I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this. In the meantime, should you have any further queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us here at Customer Care.
Kind regards,
so i think i'll have to wait after the holidays
Bashar, I won't send them a similar email.... let's not "overuse" their support. Please keep us posted.

nor point domains to their nameservers?

you can register your domains using any registrar, and manage all using fabulous
but you have to use fabulous nameservers to park them, url redirection is not accepted
by the way, sedo parking domains have one page indexed by search engines, fabulous parking domains have tens, because they show main and related categories about the domain. your website seems as a links directory about several subjects, it gives visitors chance to surf related categories and click the links they like
Eversince 03-25-2005, 07:32 PM is there a minimum number of domains in fabulous? can we park 2-3 domains?
Bashar 03-26-2005, 04:52 AM Ferman ah, chaning nameservers is no good for me, can't i just point WWW and * records to them? since i'm using other records etc..
Eversince i think the minimum is 100
Ferman 03-26-2005, 01:51 PM Bashar, it seems possible but i am not sure, i will tell you if it is ok as soon as i learn
eversince, if you have over 50 registered domains try your chance, 2-3 is not ok as i know
According to my information they require portfolio with over 50 domains, but if you have some premium ones, with really much traffic, I am sure they will find a solution for you.
Eversince 03-26-2005, 07:07 PM ý got 20+. So i think I wouldn't be accepted :(
Eversince,
As I have stated above, I think that if you have some premium domain names with much traffic, you may try to contact them and they might find a solution for you.
Ferman 03-26-2005, 09:32 PM 1 domain with thousands of unique visitors is bigger than thousands of domains with tens of unique visitors
Eversince 03-27-2005, 09:52 AM but mine are not like that :) Many of them are new domains without traffic which i have plans on. 1 has 60 visitor daily. 3-5 has 10 daily visitors. Not much. But I'll try :)
Bashar 03-27-2005, 05:28 PM i have few hundreds which i use for parking, lets see their reply hopefully i dont need to change nameservers to use their service :)
net41 03-30-2005, 08:48 PM You only need to change your nameservers if you intend on generating revenue from thier ppc service.
Ferman 04-01-2005, 12:20 PM Bashar, could you share with us what happened?
Bashar 04-02-2005, 02:14 AM well my account got activated and as support told me they are working on optimizing my domains keywords.
haven't got an answer regarding dns change yet, lets wait for them to finish generating and i'll update you guys :)
