Benefits, drawbacks of either?

I see that Mailman is newer, and has a lot of HTML inegration, but I need just the opposite...plain text, small size, no html...just a solid program with good administration tools.

I'm not a mailing list guru, but Mailman is fully customizable, and that means total control over whether you want MIME or text messages, message footers, etc. You can administrate either via the Web-based interface (very cool), or via e-mail commands (a la Majordomo).

I don't know that there's any feature or setting that Majordomo has that Mailman doesn't.
