Hi Guys,
I just wanted to know if anybody else out there is experiencing what I am lately and that is out of say 30 orders that are placed on my site 3 or 4 are just dribble (people filling in the fields with rubbish just to annoy me), 4 or 5 are genuine (follow through to payment etc) , 2 or 3 are spammers or breach my Terms and conditions and the rest 17 or 18 seem to be genuine but don't follow through with payment, part of this is made up of people comming back 2 or 3 times and filling out the order form each time with exactly the same info, the part of this that worries me is the 17 or so that don't follow through with payment which makes me think that something is turning them away.
Any Ideas folks :(

Apologies...I just added another bogus sign up to try to find out what your problem is. Filled out the entire form...tried it 3 times...it would take forever to process...then this...

So, you have a formmail scripting issue...which brings two words of advice...
One-test your ecommerce system often....and, do it from a computer that doesn't have any parts already in cache.
Second, don't know who you are using...but find someone good for you order processing. The number one reason people change their minds is the order processing. People want is simple, secure, straightforward...the more steps, any delay, any uneasiness...they leave.
If I can be of further assistance, feel free to PM me.

Thanks so much for that Incognito, Yes I do check often infact on average once every two days but not with a computer that doesn't have any parts already in cache  I should of thought of that but no couldn't see the trees for the forrest.
I will look into the formail issue but it must be intermitent as I have had successful sign ups as ressent as today.
I will also look at streamlining my order process.
Thanks again

I guess we should all probably review our ordering system. I can think of a few things I want to do to improve my own.
