Please let me know the best, economical & reliable hosts for a fast access to a 75 MB personal website and 1 GB bandwidth.
My list under consideration is:
1. www.cityhosts.com
2. www.ecommercediscovery.com
3. www.cyrixweb.com
4. www.myacen.com
5. www.gearhosts.com
6. www.pearlnetwork.com
7. www.ehostpros.com
8. www.server-you.net
9. www.featureprice.com
10.www.hostvelocity.com

Try using the Search function here in the forum...just type company name in the box and past feedback will come up.
I recommend though doing your OWN follow up with any potential host. What is a good choice for one person..may not be the best choice for another!

I think you can safely remove number 5 from your list. Also it's www.gearhost.com. :)

There is no best host for everyone. Also why is GearHost on thta list:angry:

steer clear of aletiahosting.com right now--they are going through a horror support system and people are livid (including me, who owns seven accounts there for clients)
bully28 03-06-2002, 03:58 AM btw, aletia hosting, aletiahosting.com is also known as just plain aletia to some (i'm doing this so it can appear in searches). avoid them!!!. used to be good, now really bad. but very good at promising to be better... for about three months now.

I have a similar opinion with Roly. Finding a best host is very difficult, because each hosting company has its own strength and uniqueness. And with so many good hosting companies in this forum, it will be tough to pick one.
My suggestion is to pm each host and inquire of them. You'll know when you found one.
