By uptime i mean how many days has a box been up without rebooting. The longest ive seen is 330 days and counting but its hosted on managed.net which only offer dedis plus they have a lot of negative feedback. Anyone know of a good provider with the kind of uptime im talkign about?

I would take a guess and say that the following three providers will probably be your best bet. These are not listed in a ranking order but just giving you 3 choices that I like.

Servint.com
powervps.com
liquidweb.com

That could very well be true but one of the main reasons that I posted these 3 is because they are very well known for superior support.

Keep in mind that most Virtuozzo VPS providers' servers will have either rebooted quite recently, or will be rebooting very soon due to the 2.6.1 upgrade. This shouldn't reflect poorly on any Virtuozzo VPS provider you look at.

Hoof,

With the vps providers that I mentioned above, I don't think you will have any worries about uptime if that is a major concern of yours. Look at the whole picture.

1) Company reputation
2) Network
3) Support
4) Scalable Solutions
5) Price

If I had to give you 1 company that has all of these qualities hands down, I would have to pick servint.com

Once you have a taste of their support, you begin to feel like a spoiled kid and they are a tough act to follow if you ever leave.

I am sure you will make the right choice.:)
