GnomeyNewt 03-21-2005, 02:09 AM I've used domainsite.com a few times now, they seem pretty good so far. dqh 03-21-2005, 05:36 AM and domain .info price $0.99/year ? Maxo 03-21-2005, 10:46 AM jetvps, Depends on the price range actually. Namecheap is the best for me. aplus.net offers $5.95/domain with .com, .net, .org (up to 5 domains per customer) I prefer paying a little bit more and staying happy. Bashar 03-21-2005, 02:42 PM domainsite seeps the cheapest now compared to ev1 which stopped offering domains for outsiders drhamad@t0host 03-21-2005, 02:45 PM 1and1 offers $5.99, but I'd never use them again. I've transferred all my domains off of them to namecheap. dmaven 03-21-2005, 02:49 PM I would not recommend aplus.net mainly on account of their marketing practices AbsolutelyFreeWeb 03-21-2005, 02:50 PM also, some offer cheap but don't give you all services .. like forwarding.. setting nameservers.. registering domain hosts.. etc.. dmaven 03-22-2005, 12:17 AM Originally posted by AbsolutelyFreeWeb also, some offer cheap but don't give you all services .. like forwarding.. setting nameservers.. registering domain hosts.. etc.. some people just need the domain name and the ability to change DNS. The additional freebies may not be important to them. Maxo 03-22-2005, 08:14 AM I totally agree with you dmaven. Most users just want to be able to change the DNS Settings and Contact Information and they rarely use additional services provided by Registrar. e-view 03-22-2005, 02:19 PM Originally posted by dqh and domain .info price $0.99/year ? no, price is 1.99$ avoid 1and1.com: i ligitated with them about year to get back my domains.... :( |
