I have a digital VeriSign digital certificate for www.certifypro.com installed on my win2k IIS5 server but now that I no longer need that server I want to transfer the domain and the cert to my Linux RedHat 7.1 server.

My question is can the cert be export to my RedHat server? I know that can be done when I export the cert from IIS4 to IIS5, but RedHat.... Hmmmm?

I don't think you can.
I don't think RedHat is going to recognize your CSR.

I could be wrong. Have been before.

But I doubt it.

According to the Verisign web site you can't make this change with the current cert, you need to replace it:
