Just do |/path/to/the/script in the mail forwarder area of cPanel. :gthumb:

I remember that I've heard from somewhere on this forum said that PerlDesk has problem once your tickets reach more than 1K.. I also wanted to buy it, it's not that expensive, but I just worry if I'll have any problem with it.

We've got about 3000 tickets in our Perldesk with no problems at all.

Good luck Steve, may be they've solved their problem, I wish to hear more people who are using this product.

We used perldesk for many years and TBH it was rubbish enver once were we able to get everything working as it should have done due to one problem or another.

I would suggest you look elsewhere for your helpdesk and I would recommend cerberus, they have a free single email edition if you wish to trial it.

I know one company that has about 20k tickets with no problems.

on a side note i am using it with about 500 tickets in it.

I agree that PerlDesk is junk - We've had to modify the code on numerous parts of the script in order to make it work properly, and we've had to disable some functions because they showed the end user internal ticket communication from our staff... :rolleyes:
