I just saw that Web Hosting Magazine is no longer publishing its print edition...I wonder how long the online edition will last?

shame - I really hope the economy comes back soon - but I don't see that happening any time soon, and Bush sure ain't helping (okay, I'm a Democrat, so I don't really like Bush from the first place..)

While we refuse to whine about the slow economy, we will apologize for the fact you won't have the freedom to read our latest issue while taking mass transit, at a bar or in the bathroom.

Laptops & wireless connection. Problem solved. :D

I don't think many people will find that much of a suprise. January's 'new look' mag was as thin as anything. Soon as I saw that I knew this day would come. Oh well, at least we still have HostingTech :)

You have a print magazine?

There's just something about flipping through a mag that makes reading more interesting for me. I stare at a comp screen for 14 hours a day as it is after all :)

I don't even have a budget :D.

You're right though, I enjoy the feel of a print magazine. I especially like the feel of Hosting Tech. That's why I figured the end of WH Mag was near with the January issue (as you did), it simply didn't feel right flipping through it.

Should you print it out? :D
I'm going to miss my toilet reading magazine :bawling:

I hate to see them go, but I have to say that I really do like HostingTech better anyway.

Well, perhaps this is kicking them while they're down... but that had to have been one of the most poorly written and designed magazines I'd ever seen. It made web hosting look like a pretty unprofessional industry run by boobie-obsessed kids, IMHO.

Got one issue free in the mail, and it went right into the trash. Ah well.

Chubby Johnson and Bit Bunker were good though :)

heh. They made ****edCompany. (http://www.f---edcompany.com/)

"Due to the fact that this magazine sucks, we are taking a hiatus....." basically says their site

Okay. I'll stop being an ass and leave them alone, now.

I liked the mag. It was one of the few that I subscribed too.

Popular Science is my fave, though. Can't live without it.

I have to agree, of course my opinion is probably influenced by the fact that I do freelance writing for Hosting Tech, and Web Hosting Maagazine never bothered to return my e-mails when I offered to write for them.

It is a shame WHMag went down hill so fast. The February issue had a great article by Tony Bourke about some of the new enhanced services switches that are available.
