Hi

I'm going to establish an ecommerce website, I will resell several products in it, I will also use DRAMS system to resell from eNom.

My problem is that I don't have a merchant account, and it is not easy as it may seem to have one.

Is a third party Credit Card Processor the solution to me?????
If no, please tell me what is the solution,
If yes, Please tell me about a good one

I don't need a shopping cart, I already have one, and I want the solution to integrate with it.
I also need that the shopper does not leave my website, i.e. all cc information will be inside my website.

Thank you all and kind regards

3PP usually requires your consumer to go to their website because they are the ones accepting the credit card on your behalf. They are the ones that are actually processing the credit card and getting the money for you.

You are more than likely looking for a merchant account with a gateway that has an API for you to integrate into your website. There are set-up fees involved etc because of your location.

Usually it helps us to know where you are. You first need to decide if you want a merchant account or if you would be happy with a third party processor.

Some companies put a few merchants on their third party platform first to make sure everything is AOK with the merchant. And then after a few months, they move them over to their own MID

in fact, I'll be so happy if I find some company which accept to offer my a merchant account,

My company had the intention of making some partnership with some merchant account provider, to distribute its products besides ours localy, but unfortunatelly, we are not able up until now of making our own merchant account because of the fact we are from syria!!

What does PayPal cost more than? PayPal charges less fees on transactions than any other payment processors we've seen.

There are about a dozen 3PPs with rates under 5%. Some are comparable to PayPal depending on monthly volume and average price.

Please check every's 3PP informations you find.

Make a lookup on there domain to see if the address is in compliance with what they state in the contact form.

Check there domain when it is created and at least try to find out which Acquiring bank they use.

You should try to verify all the informations you got from the 3PP processor to make sure they to try to fool you into a trap.

After all this words, I think it isn't realy hard to find a 3PP that will accept your business and country location of it.

Just my 2cents :pimp:

In addition to competitive rates, many 3PPs offer special services, such as multi-lingual pages, digital product support, recurring subscriptions, and others features, that are more important to some merchants. It's best to look at the whole picture to determine your best alternative.

You might also check out Compare Maps (http://www.comparemaps.com) and see what rate they can get for you.

You might want to look into an international merchant account. The item that you might want to look out for is that some have setup fees, while others do not.

Comparemaps doesn't have much to offer for most categories, only one or two options. Not nearly as many as the alternatives listed on other comparison sites?

Will it be easier to have a merchant account if I have a friend from Europe, from France eg.
I want him to establish a web merchant account on behalf of me.
Do you think this will work??
How much time will it take??

You can establish a EU merchant account without your friend. You just need to obtain an EU Incorporation for your company, and then apply for an EU merchant account.

EU direct merchant accounts take about 3 weeks on average.

Is it easy to make such an incorporation??
I don't think so!!

I'm not going to lie to you and say it's easy. It takes time, and of course the cost of incorporation. However you are investing in your company, and a direct merchant account has much better rates then a third party processor. You might pay a little more up front, but the longer your business runs the large the payoff for you. Also if you start to grow you can acquire a second and third accounts for backup, or different currencies, quicker payouts, possibly no reserves, etc...
