View Full Version : 2CO v2 Upgrade NIGHTMARE

This company just gets worst as it evolves.

I have been with these people on and off for a few years at least and now I think they have finally FORCED me out.

The upgrade to V2 is HELL. (be scared ...be very scared).

2 areas of NON help from the people that say they want to be my best ecommerce partner I have ever had :) What a joke that is.

1. Bank Details. I went through hell 2 years ago getting routing codes and stuff to make this system work. Now...they have all my details in version 1 but tell me they won't transfere it to version 2. Of course...you ccan't actually see half the details in version 1 as this is 2CO afterall. So...the only way I have of getting this information again is to jump through these hoops again to get the information again.

NOT GOOD 2CO. 0 out of 10 for planning and support

2. Product set-up. I just use links on my site. Not too many but I have about 10 set up. They don't transfer your products to the new system either. That means follow their almost impossible to understand migration or reset them all up manually.

These hoops they expect me to jump through with no support are enough to make me open up with worldpay. I have been putting that off because of the work involved but now 2CO have given me the motivation by putting BRICKWALLS in my face.

For a company that wants to be my best ecommerce partner I have ever had.....you have failed miserably.

So...those that are waiting to upgrade. Don't expect any support because you will not get any.

Start looking at alternatives NOW as well because you only get 2 weeks to perform their almost impossible tasks.

I haven't had any problems so far, I've set my account to switch over to V2, just waiting for it to actually happen. Does anyone know if payments automatically start routing to the V2 version and do you have to change any of the <form>'s on your websites for it to work?

All products was transfered to V2,
but almost all "product id" numbers was changed!

I have about 100 products, all links in different scripts on my site....
So thank you 2co, I will work additional 5 hours to correct it................

My most important problem is that I do not use their product ids. I simply use an authorize.net type of link and the 2 problems I see:
1. I pass the product description on payment link but this payment description do not show up on their secure URL where customer needs to pay. My customers end up on a 2co page and they only see the amount they need to pay, there is no mention what is this payment for...
2. The cardholder name is not passed back to my site. All other details (zip code, address, city, country) are passed back, but no cardholder name.

We also had no migration issues except that my custom product ID now doesn't appear in the order email. But that's is something I can live with.

No problems here at all. No they didn't copy products over, but so what. Is it that hard to input 10 new products? I had no problems with banking details either. All details were transferred over. How can you have a problem with a routing code? It's right on the bottom of your checks.

Some of us have hundreds of products. I sure hope this is not a widespread problem ...

We haven't had any issues - yet -... but I am noticing that the verification process is different on Version 2... other than that, most of our packages transfered across without a problem.

I have another question:
On v1.0 I have some money, after migration: Current Account Balance on v2.0 shows me zero. What to do? Someone has similar problem? I opened a ticket: any response
