Hi,

Just wondered if anyone has used or using easynic for domain registrations.

Having looked at there reseller packages they appear pretty good.

Looks like they offer .co.uk's at £3.15 per year and .com's at £6.20 per year - the prices are reduced further in some cirumstances.

Thanks for the help.;)

Are these prices any better than OpenSRS?

Don't do it!!!

They have some really unfair rules in my opinion.

£19 to transfer away.
£1.45 per month just to have the dns pointed to an other host.

I have a lot of unhappy customers that have come from easyspace.

Hi,

Eaasyspace and easynic are slightly different, although part of the same company.

I dont think they do cahrge to transfer domains, point them elsewhere.

The prices are pretty good, better than OpenSRS.

Hello
If they are selling .co.uk domains for £3.50 either they are making a loss (the base price is £5 - nobody gets them for less) or there are hidden charges.

Given the number of customers we have had who have had problems transferring out of Easynic i would not use them.

Hi,

We decided against them anyway.

Made the decision to make the investment in becoming a Nominet member and tag holder and using OpenSRS for our .com's.

Thats what we did too.
Its definitely the right way to do it.
You need your own Nominet tag to administer .uk domains anyway.
