Three weeks ago we moved our sutes t *****. 2 days ago our site was shut down without any warning. After tealking to the tech guys in their chat we discovered we had gone over our 'unlimited' bandwidth. Intrigued to find out what was up we contacted their main overages service as well as their dedicated hosting department to see what the problem was and to get it rectified. After calling trying to get through on numerous occasions with no answer we posted various emails off to different departments at ***** to get the problem dsolved quick to get the sites back online. We are now 2 days down the line and we have had not 1 email response from ***** to get the problem solved, instead they have decideed to shut the sites down with no warning.

If you are looking for hosting I would not touch these guys with a barge pole. Not only have we lost 100s of dollars in advertising but they now have control of the sites and it looks like we won't be able to recover any of the files that are up there. We have already moved to a new host (IOMart.com) because we know ***** won't respopnd to the 10 enails we have now sent. They themselves are in breach of the service agreement on one of the sites (a small site , not many visitors) as they have shut that down even though we are well under any bandwidth restrictions on their unlimited bandwidth account.

If you are new to this host lark note 'unlimited' does NOT mean unlimited by any means so be warned. As for *****, well a bunch of cowboys to be avoided at all costs.

If you had come here first and asked.....you would have had about 100 people here tell you there is no such thing as unlimited.

Also, we all know ***** is a bad host and to stay away.

Yes, the forum members (and those in the know) know about *****, Greg, but not the rest of the Net population who don't always keep an eye out on the hosting world.

I never feel sorry for anyone who signs up to a host with unlimited bandwidth....your a few bricks short if you believe there is such a thing as unlimited.

And it's obvious he spends more time complaining about a host than he does researching one.

Geez Greg why not stop being an ******* for 2 mins! This isn't a complaint, it's warning for those who may not be so very clever like you so obviously are (oooodles of sarcasm)

You mean to tell us that we can't use 1 million Gb's of bandwidth on a shared server? Even though it's unlimited? Wow!

(unlimited sarcasm)
