If are looking for a host that will respond to your emails regardless of what that email is about within a 24hr period, do not, I say do NOT host with colahost.co.uk. They do not respond to emails whatsoever. Forget about problems you are having or just a general question. Its like to have to constantly email them more than 20 times before they would even respond and that is if you are lucky. Of course, they will respond quick to sales questions because they want your money. So my advice to whom ever wants hosting, stay away at all cost from colahost.co.uk

Why would a host with .co.uk only charge in $.
Also at the bottom of the page it says colahost. ltd, however this company is not registered in the UK.

They probably went for the .co.uk domain name instead of a .com due to it being cheaper, doesnt look right though if you dont accept Pound Sterling. Cheep skates ;)

They might have purchased the right to use those images, you never know.

Hello
They are a fasthosts reseller.
Not heard of them before but they have a russian language version of their web site:
http://colahost.co.uk/rus/
That is very strange.
Here is the whois for the domain:
Domain Name: COLAHOST.CO.UK
Registered For: KazInform
Domain Registered By: FASTHOSTS
Registered on 04-Apr-2001.
Domain servers listed in order:
NS1.LIVEDNS.CO.UK 213.171.192.250
NS2.LIVEDNS.CO.UK 213.171.193.250
I would think they are Russian, hence the need for US$ rather than £.
On the Ltd issue, we regsiter .co.uk domains and if a registrant claims to be a Limited company they are required to provide their company number.
More than 50% of registrants claiming to be Ltd either don't have compoany numbers or put in bogus ones.
There seems to be some cache (I need an acute here...cashay)
in saying you are Ltd without having to do all the paperwork.

We are from the UK but bill in $ because since we are small use 2checkout. It suits us perfectly and I can't praise 2checkout enough
