Hello,

We have been recently upgraded to 2co V2.
We are having problems with x_receipt_link_url. According to 2co docs:

"x_receipt_link_url - An additional parameter that behaves as follows :

This parameter will over-ride any URL set on the Look and Feel page.
If Direct Return is disabled :
If only one product is ordered, it will over-ride the return URLs on the product as well. If more than one product is ordered, then this parameter will control where the "Click Here to Notify [Your Company]" button on the final page takes the customer, but the return URLs on the products will be listed as links below the button, next to the description of the product.
If Direct Return is enabled :
If one product is ordered, this parameter will NOT over-ride the return URLs on the products. If more than one product is ordered, then this parameter will over-ride the product return URLs. Also keep in mind that many third party shopping carts
recommend that Direct Return be disabled to work properly."

First problem is that it does not ovre-ride the URL set on Look and Feel. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Second problem is that cardholder name is not passed back. Address, city, state, zip, etc. are passed back but no cardholder name.

I am using a link like this:

https://www.2checkout.com/2co/buyer/purchase?x_Invoice_Num=12345&x_Login=12345&x_Amount=14.95&x_Show_Form=PAYMENT_FORM&x_Receipt_Link_Method=post&x_Description=Mini%20Package&x_receipt_link_url=http://www.mydomain.com/myscript.cgi

2checkout.com/2co/buyer/purchase?x_Invoice_Num=12345&x_Login=12345&x_Amount=14.95&x_Show_Form=PAYMENT_FORM&x_Receipt_Link_Method=post&x_Description=Mini%20Package&x_receipt_link_url=http://www.mydomain.com/myscript.cgi

And the 3rd problem is that although x_Description is present, on order confirmation email, Description is blank.

Anyone having similar problems?

Also, can not find where to add a custom header and footer. I checked Look and Feel, but I can only upload a logo, no header or footer.

Any comment is welcome.

V2 flat out doesn't work correctly. We called 2co about similar problems (look and feel options not working) and their "tech" simply said "headers and footers are no longer supported" and will not be supported in the future.

When pressed and asked why then V2 was still using our old header/footer (but stripped of all images and corrupt) and this couldn't be changed, they said "please hold", then hung up on us and stopped answering our calls. Our only solution was to revert our 2co sites back to V1.

According to 2co themselves, the only solution to these problems would appear to be to stop using their services and go elsewhere.

But how long will V1 work? According to them they plan tp move every account to V2 and no longer support V1.

That was our dilema. V2 doesn't work, they won't fix it and V1 won't work after March 31st (so they said).

So far, 2co have not provided any solution other than finding a new payment system before the end of the month.

What are our options? What other 3rd party processing company?

There are dozens of other processors. Just do a search in this forum to create a list then start calling them.

Note: A higher level support rep from 2checkout called me back today and informed me that the problems we are having with V2 (specifically in "look and feel") will all eventually be resolved and further that they will not remove V1 functionality until V2 works.

The real problem is apparently with their first level support staff not knowing anything. I suggest you call and have them refer you to a higher level support rep (you'll probably need to leave a message). They should be able to help.

Did they say anything how are they going to join the 2 accounts and the funds on them? What will happen with our reserves on V1?

TomD, can you please comment these issues? Thanks in advance.

SROhost, can you let us know the name of the representative that talked to you? Because you always get ignored when you ask this dumbs to pass you with a higher lever rep....
BTW, I'm in the same trouble, using Oscommerce. I was happy with V1, holy bunch of idiots, why do they have to play with theyre customers like this. ATM, now this... I would love to see a different option (than Paypal too) that could work this well with Oscommerce too, but it's already annoying to migrate all. I don't wanna ask now about the reserves, the payment totals not being shown since the last period end... since I'm already crazy thanks to them.

YES! I've ****ING DID IT!!! All you have to do is to avoid the OscSid to appear on every page. HOW? By configuring PERFECTLY your cookies directories in the includes/configure.php file. Then you will also probably need to have: The latest pm2checkout module + the modification line you can find on the OSCOMMERCE official forum - > payment gateways subforum. Please, don't ask me for further help cos I'm a real rookie on PHP and that is what makes me so happy. But you have now some clues to find what is causing yours. Check those 3 things and you'll find the way to make it work.

This is exactly why I switched to v2 before the official move

I called in and asked about that, I believe they said V1 would be supported until March 30th, but don't quote me on that. You basically have ten days to get everything working.
