It looks like i m having lot of domain problems these days.

Tell me how i help this client ( poor guy i pity him)

The domain was sold and hosted by one of our resellers who closed his shop. Obviously all the reseller sites went down , some of them shifted to other host some came direcltly to us.

This guy came to us and we were hosting his account for few months now. His domain was registered at enom which has now expired. It is not showing in the whois listing nor is anyone able to register it.

He says why didnt we take care of it. But since domain was not registered by us we would not have known

Now what do i do in such a situation. Domain was registered at enom. Not showing in whois now nor is it avail for registration.

he comes to know only when his site stops appearing.

Contact eNom support and see if you can still renew the domain.

You have to politely explain to him that hosting and domain registration are two separate services. You only picked up the hosting end of things (from the reseller who took a digger).

I'd just contact enom (as thewitt said) and try to resolve the problem. Keep us updated as to what happens.
