As I’m planning to setup a website like www.realtor.com, I have some issues which I need answer from experts.

1.Is commerce server suitable for building a property website? Or is it better that I start programming from scratch?

2.If it’s suitable, how many functions which are built in commerce server can help me to save time building the property website?

3.Which commerce server edition do I need to purchase if I’m going to use it for the website?

4.After analyzing and based on your estimation, how much more programming work does I need to put in. (In percentage)

these all depend upon what you want to get accomplished, your programming skills, etc. i am under the firm belief if you can program something the way you want it to look, the better off you are. there are plenty of 'gpl' realty programs available.
