hi,

my website actually has two or three strong opponents. I think their websites (both design and codes program) are not better than mine at all. I don't understand why visitors remain staying there.

Their websites started much earlier than mine (mine started this January). Is that the only reason why people don't come to mine often?

so confused.....:( :( :(

Remember this ivytony: a Web site is no more than a tool, and its success had as much or more to do with how its used as opposed to how well it's built. Without knowing anything about the site in question or your competitors, I'd gather the reason the other sites get the traffic has to do with customer interactions outside of the site. Maybe the wat site visitors are treated on an individual basis makes them want to be there. Maybe there are marketing initiatives driving visitors. I mean, if design and code were the only two reasons people came to and stayed on a site, Google would have folded back in 1999 :)

What is the site in question (I thought maybe the one in your signature, but I don't want to presume)? If you feel uncomfortable sharing a URL, because technically a mod might find it to be advertising according to forum rules, can you at least talk more about what one might find there, and how visitor interaction takes place?

yes, my website url is already in my signature. I am trying so hard to provide the best content and tutorials (made by myself using flash animation). I tried so hard to attract visitors. and I launched a campaign in Google adwords. I think it's just a matter of time as long as you try to update the good contents every day.

I agree that with time and persistence your site will be a success. Just give it time and don't give up. I know I have given up on projects too soon and alwasy have regret it later.
