I need to setup an automated payment processor for a hosting company. What do you guys suggest to be the best?

Thanks in advance.

Those are all billing softwares, not payment processors.

2checkout is my preferred payment processor.

Thanks so far for the replies.

Sorry, I meant billing software. :)

I haven't been around WHT for a few months and already forgetting the proper lingo. :(

I would edit the poll to have clientexec on it, but only moderators can edit the poll.

WHM AutoPilot because it's so easy to setup and use. I tried ModernBill and while it may have more features, I found it to be a lot of work.

As for processing payments, I like my 2Checkout and Paypal combination :)

Title has been modified and ClientExec added to the poll.

I agree with that its also very easy to install compared with modernbill so yeah Autopilot is also pretty decent:)

I would say if you would like full control and wish to modify/hack the system, go for custom coded billing system.

You will have full control and you will not be dependant on vendors to fix bugs. If you ever wanted to integrate things like forums/helpdesk/more control panel features, custom coded solution will definitely be needed.

Good idea, however, im not sure if that is the path I am looking to go down. I'm looking for something simple & reliable. The only integration I wouldn't mind having is with support software.

I've been with ModernBill in the past months but I found it to be too complicated.

I heard a lot of good reviews on ClientExec so I think I'll take it and test it.

Was a search done on this topic before it was posted? I was pretty sure this question has been asked and answered many many many times before.

Just something to keep in mind peeps.

Yes, but most were a generic "What is good" or "Which of these 2/3 are better"

...This is a poll with 7 different choices.

Plus opinions & software upgrades occur over time.

I use Drams Plus http://dramsystem.com/
You get a enom reseller account with it too.

ModernBill integrates with just about anything you could want to do. Run Kayako eSupport, automtically setup forum accounts for your users in phpbb, ipb or vb. Pretty nuts.

Ive used both Clientexec and WHMAP. Both did the job and were easy to use
