I have a fish website is more than a year old and it has very little traffic. Is it because too many fish sites are there, supply is greater than demand? Or I am doing something wrong or didn't promote my site well enough?
I appreciate any comments...
Here is the site:

Maybe a different domain would help? Id think it was related to the sport discus by just looking at the address.
Also maybe open it up to other species also?

What have you done to promote your site and your name? What audiences have you attempted to reach and what have those attempts looked like?
One of the biggest mistakes people make when deciding to turn to the Internet is thinking that by simply placing a site online, they are guaranteed to receive traffic and/or sales. Think of a Web site the same way you'd think about a TV commercial. You can spend thousands of dollars shooting a fantastic commercial with great music, talent and a compelling message and visual environment. But if the commercial only airs at 3 a.m. on public access cable, this great work is completely wasted. The same goes for a Web site. The best Web site in the world can easily be wasted, or it can realize its potential (and more) with the right strategy.
