hello, im building a website for doctors. the doctors know 1 username and password (1 for all) with which they should be able to access a password protected directory.

now.. im wondering if there is an other way to use .htaccess. I'd like to have the doctors typing the data into a nice looking html form instead of the login window of the browser.

does anybody know how this can be done? thanks!

You can easily do it in cPanel.

huh... afaik cpanel generates htaccess and h htpasswd, but it doesnt create any login forms... or am i wrong?
