Has anyone had any experience with Brinkster (premium account) and tell me what they're like?

I had an an account for over a year. Relatively slow support (2 days on average to reply to email). Uptime was adequate - I've never really noticed an outage myself, but I know others on the same server did make complaints. Good value considering all the components they have registered for you to use. One of the few hosts who offer ASP.NET hosting at this time.

Overall, I have favorable opinions about them.

They were my first hoster for my Fanatics Site (April to Sept '01). I thought they were great (speed and uptime) untill I needed their support. Lots of unanswered questions. Also my visitors and bandwith jumped while I was with them and then they hit me with their new excess bandwith rule. Without real warning my hosting costs went from $12,95 (premium account) to $80+ dollars. Crazily enough once I had left their services they were very responsive and gave me quick refunds for the months I paid for after the site had actually left their servers. I would try another hoster for you real sites and stick with Brinkster for their great free services.
