I understand how the system works now but what I don't understand is this:

I use 123-reg.co.uk for my domains. I have now transferred them to the nameservers on a new server e.g ns1.host.com and ns2.host.com I have transfered a .co.uk and a .com domain to these servers. I haven't actually checked for propogation yet but WHOIS shows the new servers.

Now, A client uses UKREG and when he types in the new nameservers he gets a not found error or somthing :-/

This doesn't make sense to me why it would work with one registrar and not another.

What are your actual nameservers? - ns1.horizonhosting.co.uk and ns2.horizonhosting.co.uk?

NS.HORIZONHOSTING.CO.UK
NS2.HORIZONHOSTING.CO.UK

I have tried many times to no avail to register these with NETSOL but yet I have had no problems and these particular nameservers have a lot of domains on them.


I am using some new ones on another server which I can't really release till the service is up (the company hasn't launched yet and I can't reveal their name)

Though also If I remember I asked my client to try using the above nameservers to check and they were rejected too :-/
