Anyone using HostAbuse.com ?

I signed up a while ago – waited 24hrs for the registration process only to find out that my account was not enabled as they couldn’t prove I was a web host – lol !
We’re a limited company operating a couple of other sites as trading names, all of which have clear links as to who we are etc… Our main site (for which a link was provided, including my name as per the application) even lists me as the Managing Director!

I e-mailed them my views (though I never received a reply) and asked them to 'forget' my application – if they can’t verify this sort of ‘simple’ information, how are they going to maintain a credible list of abusers for web hosts? Which is a shame, as this type of resource, if managed correctly could have become a valuable resource.

Anyone else had the same experience as me? Or is any one a member that can shed some light on the service offered?

I dont think the people at hostabuse.com have their act together. I got the same treatment.

Dont start something, advertize it, and then run it so nobody can use it...

maybe you have to be apart of some "elite" hosting social class or something...

I tried to add one to it; but there were problems.
Maybe they'll get it worked out.
But, for now, I feel abused. :eek2:
