I'm sure that this question is asked many times before, but i searched but really couldn't find the answer.
When i give my users SSH access they can snoop around the system. I know they can't really do any harm, but i would like to restrict them to their own directories.
How do i do this ?
Thanks in advance.
To prevent people from looking other's directories, I have changed /home and /home/sites/siteXXX to 711 and changed the ownership of those sites directories from nobody to the admin's user name.
Other people here have suggested making this via a chroot cage, but it's just too complicated for an average newbie sysadmin.:D

I have never been able to find a decent answer to this question as well.
The closest thing to a decent answer was "don't give people shell access" :erm:

That should hopefully do the trick :stickout

This sounds scary enough for my to try this on a full raq.
Well maybe i should just install Phpmyadmin, i just thought to give them SSH access and have one less program to worry about.
