I need a bit on info I am running on RaQ 3 and RaQ 4 servers and need to setup custom error message with .htacess

I know the code for .htaccess but my question is do I need to put the .htaccess file in the main web directory or in all ?

You could put it in the site's 'web' folder or the site's 'siteXX' folder.
