I am in need of a new design (template) for our website. Something that looks a lot more modern and professional than what we currently have.

Sites that I like are:
http://www.hostrocket.com http://www.webmasterquest.com

Our site is a banner exchange which has over 1000 members and is currently running at around 1.5m impressions per month. The site can be veiwed here. (http://www.e-bannerx.com/bannerx.htm)

We are willing to offer an advertising deal in exchange for a new design. Generally we sell ads for around US$1.40 per 1000 so we can negotiate along these lines for the exchange of ads for design. We are happy to break the denomination of ads into what ever package you like.

For example we manage a 468x60 exchange, a button exchange (88x31) and a text exchange, so your welcome to make use of all these. Also if you had 10 468x60 banners you wanted to use then we could split the impressions amongst these. However, for the purpose here these is no need to worry about working out splits at this stage, I only mention it to show what we can do.

If your interested if you can possibly post some links of your exisiting work (sites already built) and what number of ads you might be wanting in exchange for your time and effort to complete a design that fits in with the look and feel of the above sites. I will endeavour to do some more searching to find some further examples of what I like. I am not really interested in flash as I like to keep the site load time down.

Thanks

example

100,000 ads is $140
500,000 ads is $700
1,000,000 ads is $1,400

My companies prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of the web design companies out there. We can handle all of your companies needs, logo design, flash animation, e-commerce, and more. We have a combined experience of 25 years in graphic design and web design. Here are a few examples of our work.

We may be interested in working this deal... Is there any way we could get partial cash payment, and partial ads?

Yes I agree their will be a need for a new logo. The site does not really have a good logo as yet.

If anyone wants to make offers by PM please do, but please include urls for samples of your work.

In terms of price I have no upper limit in mind and I am happy to negotiate. I am leaving it to bidders to determine what it will take of their time and effort to build a quality site and I will not necessarliy go for the lowest bid, but rather it will be a trade off between examples of previous work and the number of impressions.

Below is a small ready rekoner to help determine price. For example if you think your work is worth $500 then the number of impressions would be 357,143. (i.e. 500 / 1.40 = 357.14 x 1000 = 357,143)

100,000 ads is $140 worth of work
500,000 ads is $700 worth of work
1,000,000 ads is $1,400 worth of work
2,000,000 ads is $2,800 worth of work

To make it easier I am happy for people to quote me in dollars and then I can come back with the conversion to impressions.

Thanks

Fulcan, had any takers on this one yet?

I am starting up a design firm and was wondering if it was too late to get into the game. Loads of advertising would be very helpful in getting my firm off the gorund.

Hi Snikle.

Yes I have had a number of people submit but I have not yet made a decision. I am not in a rush so I am happy for people to submit for a while yet.
