They have a free version which allows full functionality, but is limited to one email address. http://www.cerberusweb.com/ zsindhu 03-10-2005, 03:29 AM Take a look at PerlDesk (http://www.perldesk.com) HostPromoter 03-10-2005, 09:43 AM OneorZero . http://www.oneorzero.com/ Corey Bryant 03-10-2005, 09:50 AM Not too sure if you are looking for PHP or ASP, but http://www.intouchmedialtd.com/ uses email piping with the help of .NET MTSpace at WHT 03-10-2005, 10:06 AM Hi there, If you can afford it, I strongly recommend DekPRO Enterprise (www.deskpro.com). It's going to set you back $995 but th quality and ease-of-use of the ticket and FAQ systems is absolutely awesome. Their support is also great. Next down is Kayako eSupport (www.kayako.com). Their developers are very slow - over a year ago version three should have been out and like many people I get the impression that they think "we make enough money, not bothered about getting this out soon" and their support is terrible. The latest releases have all been pretty buggy in my experience, sometimes emails don't go out, sometimes tickets don't show up, sometimes it refuses ticket keys for login, etc. But quite nice software if you can get your hands on one of the nice stable builds. That's still about $499 I believe though. If you're looking for something really cheap, PerlDesk does an ok job. It's only $49 and still has email piping (although it can be an *** to get working properly). You'll find it a bit resource hungry if you get any serious traffic to it, but it's quite a nice bit of software. Hope this helps. empresasdehosting 03-10-2005, 11:40 AM sitepanel2 in sitepanel2.com is another helpdesk with pipe and the price is 30 Eur enis 03-10-2005, 12:04 PM Cerberus wins hands down for the price. ;) blockcipher 03-10-2005, 12:15 PM Kayako works perfect for any helpdesk. Doesn't matter what industry it is in. But thats my opinion :) tickedon 03-10-2005, 02:10 PM Another vote for Cerberus here :) As a note, SitePanel2 is another good choice, but costs £30 (british pounds) and not euro's. Goldwing 03-10-2005, 05:57 PM Another vote for http://www.sitepanel2.com 7 day trial on your own server to see it working zsindhu 03-11-2005, 02:31 AM I just went through the demo for SitePanel2 and it does look interesting specially for the price it is being offered. Although, I found that: 1. You cannot create submit tickets via e-mail unless you have an account at the support desk already. 2. You can only pipe mail sent to one e-mail address as opposed to several e-mail addresses for different departments Can somebody already using the system, confirm this? Maybe there are certain features disabled in the demo? tickedon 03-11-2005, 02:54 AM Originally posted by zsindhu I just went through the demo for SitePanel2 and it does look interesting specially for the price it is being offered. Although I like the way it looks. ThinkSupport 03-11-2005, 05:13 AM My vote goes with Cerberus !!! dynamicnet 03-11-2005, 09:29 AM Greetings: Count our vote for Cerberus as well; you can do email piping with Cerberus.
