There are a lot of people registered on WHT but not a lot respond to the polls. It would be good to know if regular users respond to polls or not so we can see if they are useful source of information. Please think about your response and then tell us do you respond to polls?
Yes
No
I don't know

Well if people don't respond to polls, you don't possibly think they're gonna respond to this, do you? ;)

I am new, but yes usually.
Most polls reveal some interesting facts - at least from the members of this forum.

I respond to some polls.
Others are so poorly worded that you can't vote in the poll correctly.
Some polls are so dichotomous in their thinking that if would be unjust to vote in them.
I enjoy open discussions more that are not limited by polling answers.
Although, if a poll is well constructed, they can be quite usefull.

Depends on what type of mood I am... if I'm in my lazy mood (Which is 80% of the time) I will not respond, instead I'll just hit the back button, but if I'm in my "non-lazy" mood I might respond if I like what the poll is asking.

"No" is a very funny option for this poll.

Very rarely respond to a poll.
You could get the answer to your question by looking at some of the 'poll' threads. Most of them have more 'views' than 'poll' counts.

I usually just vote on a poll to see the results along with the discussion (I don't like how the view results link only shows the results without the discussion included)...anyway, but as you can see with my post count and the amount of time I've been registered here, I seldom respond to threads... polls or no polls.

I do respond to polls..
The base reason is that it is a wonderful way to get statistics which are very important for many things...
Have a great day :)
