I have been having problems with e-mail on all my domains with HostPlus which was temporarily worked around by using e-mail forwarding instead of the domains' mail boxes. Now this doesn't work either.
For over a week there has been a telephone message saying they are unable to accept incoming telephone calls and there service notice page has a message about a violent attack at their offices (yet again!) and a malicious e-mail attack on their server (er, yet again...).
I don't get any responses to e-mails to either their support department or their sales department.
I anyone else having these problems or some idea of what is going on there?
Any feedback is much appreciated.

I have been unable to get through on the phone since the beginning of February, when they sent me an invoice. I am requesting more details about why they are billing me.
They have yet to respond to a ticket on a domain I manage for someone else, nor have they responded to any emails since the 17th Feb. That was a holding email saying someone would respond in 7 days.
I do hope they are not going to cease trading.

Hi UKcobra,
Out of interest, is e-mail still working on the domain you have with them?
It is worrying that they haven't even responded to sales enquiries. I have also had an outstanding refund with them for about three months for some over zealous billing, which they assured me would go through three times but to no avail.
Hmmm...

Sent you a PM, but you need to post more before you can read it.

Luckily I realised some time ago that you need to use a separate registrar to hosting privider so that you can change DNS tags to an alternative server in the event of serious problems. However, early on in my venture into hosting (I am primarily a designer) I had three domains registered by HostPlus. The registrar they use is totalregistrations.com to whom I have spoken to regarding taking control of those domains. Totalregistrations tell me that HostPlus have to transfer the domain to me (even though I am the registered owner), but of course, as I cannot get though to HostPlus, I can't ask them to do it. I have explained this to totalregistrations and am awaiting their reply.
Tum-ti-tum...

Have had a reply from totalregistrations.com. They have sent a request to deal with the problem to every known e-mail address they have for HostPlus/DeeNine (this is quite a few it seems as I can see the Cc list) asking them to respond/deal with this latter problem. I wonder if they or I will get a response. The plot thickens...
