I tried to install this pkg. After about 10 minutes IE stopped spinning, so I assumed it was done. However, it doesn't show up in the list of installed files and it didn't reboot??

Should I try to load it again?

I think this update is about 33 megs, right?
So if there is any problem with your connection or the download site busy you will experience the timeout problem.
Just download with wget and install manually at the command line.

I've never installed a pkg from the command line, can you pointers on how to do that??

Thanks

As root:

wget <URL FOR PKG>
/usr/local/sbin/cobalt_upgrade <NAME OF PKG FILE>

Place it anywhere. You can delete the PKG after installation.

Got an error:

This package requires Kernel 2.216C28III

Does that mean I'm missing a previous pkg?

Thanks

Ok, got the kernal upgraded.

Now I'm trying the os pkg again.

I'm in the middle of it and got:
