I'm located in Russia

Valis opened one for me, but it's planning to be closed at 1, July :( :(

so what happens now to the hundreds of dollars their clients paid to get their accounts?

I asked them today
waiting for reply

i paid $350

I don't know why are they are not responding to our emails after this decision, while there were responding in less than 24 hours before!

does anybody know any other variants to open an account in the US?

I'm from Russia too. Did you received an e-mail from Michael Steele, which he have sent to Russian, Ukrainian and Belarussian people only? I got it today... :eek:

THis e-mail on Russian and English languages. Michael have written that he just have returned from a two week trip to Moscow, Kiev and Minsk. He have a special affection for the Russian and Ukrainian people and wish to continue to assist us in his Mount Morris Savings division (maintain US bank account there)... :eek:

It is in russian so ? u dont know what Moldova is an exUSSR republic and like 101% of ppl here speak russian ? ;p If they are considering not dumping russian ppl i might send them my wife's russian passport with Moskow residence address :o

What?? is that true? I also paid $350 to open my MT Morris Saving account... this is not serius.

U know what, i think its not about the new goverment rules or smth.
Imo Mr. David Gendron signed a contract with MMSLA which was profitable for Valis Savings and not so profitable for MMSLA itself. Look, MMSLA do have couple of other devisions and those are older then Valis Savings and are not goin anywhere. So i just think ppl from Mt. Morris town dumped Valis and Co and not realy the customers, well i donno we will wait and see but it sounds very odd when i hear that this division is not profitable while there are passing bilions of $$$ thru those accounts for sure...

I already have an account at Mt. Morris, the thing is that is very odd that they will only allow to people from Russia and Ukrainia to keep their account and they will kick out there to everybody else.

That's not a professional way to manage a business like a bank.

I have my bank account opened with hsbc usa for two months now. I used Easy Corp Ltd to get this account opened and it was done within one month. Maybe it can help... this is totally free banking with HSBC.

They also opened me a personal bank account in a private bank in New York. I got online banking, visa debit card and even a american express gold with them.
