Hey guys,

I registered a domain through namecheap.com (who are quite good actually :) ), and I now want to register ns1&ns2.thedomainIordered.com . I sent an e-mail regarding this (with the correct IP info & all that) to rick@namecheap.com, the owner of the company. This was more than 24hrs ago and I still didn't get a reply!

Now I'm wondering if maybe there's an automated option to do this, and that it isn't necessary to e-mail'em.... ?

Anyone that has (dns) domains with them? How did you register your dns servers? E-Mail or automated (in the MyAccount-section of the site) ?
And how long did it take before they were registered?

Once again, I all thank you, my loyal friends... :D

I've currently got 3 domains registered via Namecheap. DNS can be changed by logging in at the site, selecting modify domains, and then click the edit box beside the domain you wish to edit. You should then see what you're looking for: contact info, modification of the given dns, and the ability to specify your own nameservers.

Err...

I don't think you've understood my question entirely...
I mean I want to register ns1&ns2.mydomainwithnamecheap.com as dns servers so that our clients can fill them in at their domain control panel and so that they can point their domain to our server to get a virtual hosting account. ;)

Anyways; it all turned out well: I was indeed supposed to send an e-mail to rick@namecheap.com and I got a reply from him today. :)
I have my dns servers!

Thanks a lot for trying to help anyways Dave114
