I'm looking for a free help desk support system. I already know about http://www.helpcenterlive.com/ but i'm looking for other scripts. There are tons of them so I'm only looking for the ones you're currently using or have tried in the past.

The consensus I have seen is helpcenterlive is the best of the free ones. I know this has been discussed a few times, might want to do a search.

They wont compare to a paid one though. You get what you pay for.

Not completely true. Try Cerberus here (http://cerberusweb.com/free_version.php). It's a great helpdesk, I like it more than any that I've seen (free or paid). The only limitation of the free version is that you can only have one department ;).

No there aren't any limits on users, the only limit is one department. I got to say, when I was installing Cerberus the first time, it was pretty hard, that's the down side. At least one of the people behind the help desk visits these forums, his name here is jstanden.

I'm asking for the free ones you've tried. I'm already familiar with cerberus. About departments... if the same person is answering everything, what's the point. But back to topic please...
