The problem is I can go by means of 64.235.242.204/~mateopr2/ but not with the relevant domain. Do you know the reason?

Note: this problem is appearing only from time to time. At the time of writing this I cannot acces through the domain but with the IP.

I see a site under construction type of page. Is that what is supposed to be showing?

Yep that is exactly it. I am in Canada so it could be if you are located somewhere else in the world that your ISP hasn't updated.

The problem is normally it resolvs well but during some time, let's say two or three hours every two weeks, it do not resolve.

I am going to loose a customer for that reason... you know, customers always think the problem is on the server :nervous:

Then from Canada and from UK all is ok. I am in Barcelona (Spain) and I cannot see it except if accessing through the IP.

If any idea of the reason I will appreciate your thoughts.

Are you hosting it on your own server? Or are you renting hosting? If you are renting contact your host as they may need to check settings.

I am renting hosting. I am a reseller (www.casti2001.com) and my only IP is 64.235.242.204. If I use the IP + user like 64.235.242.204/~mateopr2/ it works. If I use www.c2001.com/~mateopr2/ also (c2001.com is my main domain). Only that domain and only in a certain hours (a few hours per week) do not work. This problem also happens with a few other domains I host.

You might want to go here and do some research to see if you can find any problems then point out any problems you find to your host.

just needs time to propagate tools like dnsstuf.f.com dnsreport.com checkdns.net dnscheck.net etc.. can be useful to nslookup from remote sites

I can also see the site the way you described it. Another option is
to probably check with your ISP.
