Hey guys,
HumanClick rocks! I tried it through Bravenet and it sure is cool. Customers contact you a lot more directly from your site!
But here's the thing; I don't like those ads from Bravenet, and the HumanClick software won't run on one of my systems... :(
So I was wondering if maybe you know a HumanClick look-a-like, which is free? It can be a simple per/php script... I don't care; it may even look ugly. :stickout
Just tell me everything you know of something other than (Bravenet)HumanClick...
I'd really appreciate this! :) :)
Thanks:cool:

This isn't free. But, at $100, it's an affordable solution.

Have you tried HumanClick from Bravenet? They offer a completely free version of HumanClick, which is a little more limited in that you can only have on tech/support person online on it at a time, but if you're a small company that shouldn't really be a problem.

I'd suggest running IRCD and having a java applet on your site for a live chat area. Something like eirc.sourceforge.net (free) or jpilot.com (commercial).

Actually it's quite bad for small companies, since you are trying to grow, and when you have one or two people waiting and waiting while you talk to one person, they don't get the best impression.

Not only is groopz not free, they also provide terrible support for their products, past experience with digichat, also by the same people. Their products and services are far below my expectations, and they tack on another $150+ fee for support (which as I said, is pathetic) and free updates (which would be useful if they ever fixed and released an update). Overall, my suggestion is to avoid them. You can get better for far less.
Not that anyone was considering groopz, but just in case.
