View Full Version : TomD: 2checkout delayed my transaction
delphiman 03-07-2005, 12:13 PM I made a transaction with my client for over $1000 through 2checkout by using check. My client paid my using his checking account to pay. The transaction was made on Feb 15 and until now March 8, the fund is still not settled yet.
What kind of business is this? Why is it taking that long (alomost a month) to process a check payment? 2checkout should have some kind of warning about checking payment. How long do I have to wait for this fund to transfer? Nowaday, every business is on the fast move, but apparently, 2checkout is slow like SH****T
I send vendor ticket and it has been 2 weeks, not even a reply from them. TomD, you suck and 2checkout is suck too.
Lubby 03-07-2005, 12:58 PM Have you tried sending a PM to TomD here on WHT?
I guess you only have 1 post, you need 10 I think to send a PM but that might help if you aren't able to get ahold of them through their website.

It would go a long way, for your benefit, if you were to present this issue in a mature and respectable manner.
okihost 03-07-2005, 02:35 PM Well the fact that it is a check and for $1000 should right there give you some red flags that authorization could possibly take a bit longer than usual.

I have been nice to them, I have been patiently qaited for them, I have called them everyday with a polite maner, and they treat me with no respect and ignorant.
If they could wanr me a head that with check processing, it could take longer, I could have my client mail me his personal check with USPS for even quicker payment.
2Checkout is even slower than USPS and old usual way. I could scream down to their throat about their stupidity.

Lol, don't plan on getting your money now. :emlaugh:
IGobyTerry 03-07-2005, 06:07 PM There's always two sides to a story, and I'm more than willing to bet that 2Checkout has a pretty good one. Fraud? What? Did I hear something like that?

You don't know, so stop wasting this board bandwidth okay? I am doing great business here and my transactions gone through smoothly when I use Verisign (which I am using using them) becuase I just want to try out 2checkout to see how it is, but my first experience is terrible. So I am going to keep using verisign.
I dare 2checkout to keep my money without paying me. They are seeking lawsuit come to their door
Derek 03-08-2005, 05:43 AM I forgot my pocket translator at the office... sorry.
Seriously though, showing a bit more respect would look a whole lot better. Be patient, be nice, and they will get your funds ready. Don't get mad, and don't get mean, because although they can't keep your money, they can hold it for quite a while.

Unfortunately, iNet Interactive is willing to pay for the bandwidth for constructive posts. ( at least i hope so  )
I can see how 'great' your business is, when you bring yourself so low...
Like other members have suggested, just Private Message TomD or shoot him an email, which is available in his signature.
peterh 03-09-2005, 08:07 AM Or just give 2checkout.com a ring? They have always been very helpful when I have rang them.
delphiman 03-09-2005, 11:51 AM Yesterday I called them, after 20 minutes holding, I finally got to talk.
I checked with my client and his bank statement shows that 2checkout withdrew money out of his bank 3 weeks ago already. So when I talked to 2checkout to find out why I am not getting payment. Well, customer rep. does not have any answer for me, she turned me to her supervisors and they said "We don't have any answer for you now. We don't know why it is not showing on your balance."
This is just bull! nobody at 2checkout know where is my money ... if this is in your case, what are you going to do?Apparently, they have my money because money has been transferred to them and now they tell me they don't know ...so who knows?
This is just unbeliveable
