Hello,
We have a great niche web hosting brand and great benefits and free products to go along with it but we are having a tough time marketing this. We have only had one signup to it and it was through a search engine. Google AdSense returned no results for us, either. Do you have any tips for marketing for niches? Thank you!

Have you attempted targetted advertising/traffic yet? I realize you say you have done google but well adwords is not a big signup maker anymore it seems (unless you're willing to throw out tons of money into it).

Depends on what your niche is. Many different ways to market depending on what it is.

Try finding some online forums targeted specifically to bands and music groups, and see if you can post something there - either helpful little tips or an outright ad, if allowed.
You also might want to try to get connected with some local producers who could refer artists to your company.
Just some thoughts. Don't get discouraged. It takes awhile to get your name out there and get potential clients to trust you.
I do have one more idea, if you're interested, send me an email...

Many newsletters carry ads. Find newsletters that cater to your target audience and advertise in them. See:

I think you got a good niche! If you haven't done so already, you should print out a lot of flyers (about 3x5 or smaller), go to all the clubs, gigs, concerts, and any place where musicians are involved and distribute those flyers. Don't just do it one time. You have to do this on a periodic basis. I'm sure every band would want to have a web site.
Like globalwebbrands said, it takes awhile but be persistant and I'm sure you'll eventually pickup a good client base.

If the niche you are talking about is bands then maybe work with local music stores to have them give out flyers with new purchases or put up ads in their stores so that aspiring bands can see them. Think outside the box a bit and you should be able to find lots of ways.

1) What is your target market. Does this market really require the product you are trying to sell.... IF you are cheaper than a million other guys you are in no way going to break into the market.
2) Does the target market know about you and your products/services ?
3) how much do you know about the target market. i.e. where do they meet, what do they spend on , how much do they spend and so on....
3) On what basis do you say you have a great niche web hosting brand ?
Once you have answered there it would not be difficult marketing your product. The customer just needs to know that you are there.
I hope I did not sound rude. My only intention is to help you. I am just trying to put in some basic questions to help you out find out the market. I understand the situation where you are in right now. We have all been there in the past and I am sure we'll all face this challenge from time to time in our life.
When we started bobcares, we spent a long time trying to -
a) figure out what exactly is the need of the hour for the potential customers.
b) how to we convey to the people who need the service that we are there offering the service.
Once we figured that our it was easy after that.
I wish you the same luck... :-)
Regards,
Amar
