NOC/Junior Technician

COREIX LTD is hiring 1st/2nd level NOC/Junior technicians.
This position will give you real hands on experience with working in large datacenter environment (not a call center).

This position will involve:

- Processing trouble tickets
- Answering inbound calls
- Installation of operating systems
- Rebooting Hardware
- Assisting in the installation of equipment (servers, network hardware)

Other duties include:

- Routine server management tasks
- Maintaining/Upgrading servers and related hardware
- Knowledge of TCP/ IP Networking


Must have expertise in one of the following operating systems and be willing to learn all operating systems: Linux, BSD, Windows 2000/2003 server and Unix.

Knowledge of the following are a plus: apache, mysql, sendmail, qmail, SQL, FTP, SSH1/2, IIS, IMail, terminal services, VNC, PCAnywhere, cPanel, Plesk and other web related applications and/or utilities.

General networking knowledge is needed.
This is a great opportunity to progress into NOC engineer. Full or Part Time positions available on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Which datacenter is this? I'm assuming one of the larger DCs (Redbus or Telehouse), or is it an in-house DC?
