Hi everyone.
We're currently making the move from Plesk to H-Sphere. While Plesk has served us well in the past, we have outgrown it. We are looking for someone interested in renting the server from us, as we own the software licenses.
The server is a Pentium 3 1GHz box with 512MB RAM and two 40GB IDE harddrives. It comes with a Plesk license for 100 domains, and a ClientExec license. It is located at GNAX. We have found that even though the box is a P3, it is completely capable of handling a hundred average sized website. It is also less expensive than most other servers, which makes it a great start for someone looking for another Plesk server, to move to their own server, or whatever your need may be.
The Plesk license cost us $399, and will cost $260 to renew for upgrades, and $100 a year after that for subsequent upgrades. You can purchase our ClientExec license from us for $50 plus a $25 transfer fee.
Our admin is also familiar with Plesk due to his time administering it with us, and has offered to proactively manage it for $50 extra a month. This includes one hour of support, and he will automatically upgrade the server and make sure it is up. He charges $20/hr for additional work, and will work with you via AIM or e-mail.
The overall cost is $100/mo, $150/mo if you want it managed, and a setup fee of $350. The setup fee would include the Plesk renewal, putting a fresh installation of Linux and Plesk on the server, and tailoring the packages to your needs. For people were wary of the setup, but look at it this way: Plesk would cost you $30/mo otherwise, which amounts to $10 more than that for the first year. This also includes the server setup and customization to your specifications. After that, it's only $100/yr, which is over $260 less than what you'd normally pay. PayPal would be best as far as payment goes, though other methods can be arranged for.
Also, if you're relatively new to Plesk, I would be glad to help you acquaint yourself with it through AIM, and share personal notesheets I've kept.
Feel free to contact me via PM, replies, e-mail, or messenger, available on request.
Thank you,
Dan Luria
