Is http://www.hostsearch.com very very slow for any one else. Takes like 2 min. to open any page or more.

Seems to load okay here.
Although it is turning into a place I don't frequent often.

Vortech....Im glad you made this post!
Ive noticed it for several weeks now, and just got busy and never posted about it.
I actually thought it was just "me" for awhile.

Hmm, seems a little slow here as well. I guess they're suffering from their own success. ;)

Yep.
It's been a snails pace for me for weeks too.

If they dont fix it were going to have to find a few new places to run ads.

Brendan,
I dont run any *paid* advertising there, but I was considering joining their annual membership. Needless to say I changed my mind quickly even for that since its been at the SNAILS pace for some time now! I think it was around the time they changed the format of their site. :(

Yea once that new design went up it got real bad.. Not sure what is going on but takes me 30 Min to do any thing i need to on there site.. Really said if you think about it. As much as they charge and all the AD's there it should be very fast.. hehe

Not only that, when I tried writing a couple reviews (good ones, for futurequest and integrahosting), it crashed three tries in a row when trying to change a field my autofill had mis-filled.

I was getting a lot of msSQL error also.. I guess that goes to show MS is not that good still.. If they were on FreeBSD and PHP it would run like a champ.. :)

I've noticed many SQL errors as well, but when it's working I must say that the loading speed is excellent....
I also like their new site design..

We have noticed that too. And it longs about 2 weeks.

Its been slow for me too since they changes their design. Their connectivity seems OK, but the pages takes a very long time to load. This is not acceptable, pages are supposed to be processed faster, in general, than the connection itself.

You should really do a search and see how slow is slow :(

Thank you for all of your comments. We have spent 2 days and nights fixing the speed problem.

HostSearch is now running very fast. It'll take just a few seconds to load the page. Please try.

Thanks again for all your comments ;-)
