Hi all,

Here is my case. I've been looking for a good reseller package.
Read all the threads I finally sorted out those : mchost, splashhost, voxtremx, datahost, NIRMANI, and Sean.

All seem good with their offer. Hard to choose which one, I think.
So I visited all the sites, and WROTE to each of them some questions that I concerned. SURPRISED!! here is the result:

Splashost: replied in 20', all questions were answered
Voxtremx: replied in 15' , 2 of 3 questions were answered
Mchost : 2 days no reply ( two times mailing )
Datahost: 2 hours, 1 of 2 questions was answered
Nirmani: 12 hours- still waiting
Sean: 12 hours- question was answered

The decision is.... waiting for your guys vote!! But whatever reason, I think it's no matter what or how good the offer is, if the support is too slow( bad) then the customers just go, went, gone...

Hi,

Only 2 of your 3 questions were answered? If this is so, my apologies for this - please let me know if I can be of assistance answering any outstanding questions.

Regards
Matt

I'm in the process of picking a host for moving a club site. In the past 2 or 3 days, I've exchanged at least 3 or 4 e-mails with Nirmani, they seem to be answering my questions and also trying to come up with a custom package to meet our club needs. Not sure why you're not getting anything from them.

Not that anyone asked, but I also got pretty quick responses from cyberwings and tera-byte.

Aletia did not respond to 2 e-mails at sales@aletia.com 4 days ago.

You've got a pretty good list there, it's a toss up. I have never communicated with Nirmani so I don't know about them. I recently went with Splashhost and found Alan very accessible- did I spell that right?
Anyway, don't sign up for any long term relationships, I have been through 3 hosts so far and I hope to stay with Splashhost as long as my sites stay up and running. So far , so good.

One-time test certainly do not give you true results. Try sending the same request on a Friday or Saterday night.

I just signed up with Splashhost and I have to say that Alan has been very good to me so far. He seems obsessed with providing his resellers the best support possible.

Splashhost was my choice.

Fast sales reply doesn't mean you'll get fast support.

What if the company only cares about getting new customers and don't care about current ones? What if they ignore their current clients' email and put priority to answer some sales questions first?

Of course, I always agree that fast reply on sales question is a really turn on approach.

Well I'm not a reseller, but I have dealt with Alan from Splashhost in the past, and he is always very professional. Although I don't contact him as much as someone needed support would, he is generally around.

Alwayswebhosting.com now offers a reseller package. And with there near 24-hour tech support, you can't go wrong. They have a variety of control panels to choose from also. Check them out. Tell them Cameron sent you ;)
