I want to go ahead and get my corp liscence setup for my webhosting company.

but my current situation has me moving around a bit.

so should i incorporate in a state like nevada since i dont have a steady residence anyways? or should i do it in the general vacinity of where i am moving around (i.e. new england)?

In general, you must have some sort of presence in the state you incorporate in. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to do business in that state, just means you have to have some sort of presence. This can be in the form of a rented PO box, or through an incorporation agent.

Since you're moving around a bit, pick a state that has the best resources for the budget you have for incorporation (typically Nevada and Delaware have the best costs) and then go from there. This should alleviate your location concerns.

Waylon

Talk to a CPA before you set anything up. They will be able to tell you what is the best to do depending on your current situtation and where you plan to be in the future.
