Revelation 02-28-2002, 10:47 PM Just to get the ball rolling for you: (I'm sure it will roll a ton faster in a little bit.)
$40/month.
and now somebody outbids me.
Choppy 02-28-2002, 10:54 PM $42,
just to keep it flowing... Thats just all i can afford at the moment! Since someone did bid 40 i thought 42 would still be enough to outbid them :)
Synergy 02-28-2002, 11:01 PM $45
Mirage-ISP 02-28-2002, 11:11 PM Am confused. Thought thats what ebay was for?
JBIZ718 02-28-2002, 11:20 PM It maybe the case.
But this is our special offer.
We can post it here.
We will honor the final price + the $209 setup fee
Joe
dektong 02-28-2002, 11:46 PM Joe, I assume the bid is only to be posted in this thread and not to be made directly to you?
cheers,
Woody 02-28-2002, 11:52 PM I think it would be easier on the rest of us so we know what to bid up to next.

Alan - Vox 03-01-2002, 11:48 AM Joe make a minimum bid increment of $2 or something
panopticon 03-01-2002, 12:02 PM Nice SCSI drive, but DV2's $99 standard price is also very attractive.
JBIZ718 03-01-2002, 12:15 PM Im not trying to compete with other companies.
I have this server. You do not have to bid, but its a great deal. My company has been around for about 2.5 years, we are both ensim and plesk partners.
For splash hosts sake please use whole$. Also this isnt ebay, if you want to bid again, bid again.
The yipes network is uunet/level 3. It is a amazing network powered by extreme networks switches. This same server was originally sold months ago at 250$ +
THe bandwidth alone is worth it.
66.54.221.200
Its a great deal, but please keep the post on target, and my recomendation is not to compare this to cogent bandwidth companies because its not.
Please dont take my words as harsh, but just keep to get this post on target, in the next 3 days someone is getting a darn good deal on a server, and we are happy to help
Also Join me , DJ JBIZ on Web Hosting Radio at 7pm CST everynight

Your deal with Yipes! bandwidth is great :smokin: (I'd bid on it myself if it was a beefier machine), but nobody mentioned a cogent only bandwidth provider. While they do have cogent on their BGP4, my traces to that company almost always go through Aleron/Agis/Telia. Telia, especially, is one the fastest bandwidth providers ever. (see boardwatch's yearly evaluation)
You're right, too... it should be kept on target. Just pointing out something that needed correction.
Back on target, captain! :)
JBIZ718 03-01-2002, 12:39 PM Last bid
$80
Update
WALoeIII 03-01-2002, 02:34 PM
diederik 03-01-2002, 02:43 PM $85 / month
Tazzman 03-01-2002, 03:19 PM I'll bid $5, just in case all the other bids are false :D
Good luck with the auction, hope you find a friendly new owner for your server.
dhlsg 03-02-2002, 06:19 AM $86
Matlok 03-02-2002, 07:02 AM What version of Ensim Webappliance (10 / 100 / 250 or unlimited domains) is included?
When the 100 + domains version is included my bid is : $90
dhlsg 03-02-2002, 07:16 AM Anything more than this is madness - $209 set up as well...... I'm out :)
OOPs, forgot the rules for a minute!!
Just expressing my opinion, not trying to bias anyone from leasing this 'very' powerful server...
Steve
Synergy 03-02-2002, 12:27 PM Bid: $50
JBIZ718 03-02-2002, 05:24 PM Obviously every server has a limit on how many domains.
Currently it is running web appliance LH, which is server xchanges version. It will be upgraded to the Unlimited Web Appliance 3.0 soon.
Overall, there is no limit from the control panel on how many domains you can setup.
And Also there is a $209 setup fee, this is still lower then others out there.
Joe
JBIZ718 03-03-2002, 12:45 AM This auction is currently now closed.
We will contact our bidders.
Thanks for your paticipation
Joe
porcupine 03-03-2002, 01:07 AM hahaha i love how a bunch of people edited the amount of their bids :D
JBIZ718 03-03-2002, 04:49 AM What isnt funny is that i wrote down everyones bids as they made them
And someone is getting a great deal
Joe

what can i say?
thats unfair, guys who did it should be ashamed of themselves, if you dont want the deal, then dont bid, simple as that.
Let me tell you that if i was a host company, i garantee you that i would take note of the guys who went back on their bids and no deal with this guys ever.
jmars 03-03-2002, 07:56 AM eww. now that's something to specify in future auctions. "you edit thou bid, I hunt you down & kill you"

A bit on the excessive side I think.....
Love thy neighbour.
