just made a purchase at an auction and since I don't know anything about telecom stuff, I was wondering what exactly I just bought - I wasn't really planning on buying anything, but the deal was just to good to pass up. They are:
NORTEL NTN502AA LINE CARD FOR ACCESS NODE EXPRESS, POTS

Anyone ever heard of them (or perhaps wants some)? I know they're worth about 30-50 bucks new. Thanks a bunch

POTS = Plain Old Telephone Service. Well atleast here it does.
Obviously something to do with telco equipment.

Yep, it's a line card for the access node express, which is a carrier/ISP product for wireless services. I doubt you'll find any buyers for them, as there's been a glut on the market with the collapse of so many companies.

LOL :stickout Why would you buy something if you have no clue what it does?

yeah...i guess i am a pretty bad impulse buyer, but I got a really good deal - i paid like 1/10 for 10 times as many cards as someone later in the auction. Guess it doesnt really matter if I cant sell them tho...:(
I might buy some if you tell me what they do :D

I guess i could give you one...wait a minute...then I'd only have 2086! Actually, I've been looking around, and there appear to be several wholesalers that might be interested :D I gotta go to auctions more often
