I believe there are quite a few hosts out there who use PlanetPayment simply because they are an International version of Authorize.net.. Anyone know WHY/WHEN Ubersmith is adding PP support? It works EXACTLY the same way as Authorize.net, except instead of using the authorize.net url, you just use the Planetpayment URL.
I have been using modernbill for quite some time and it has too many bugs so its time to switch!! :(

Do you have any sort of program that imports mbill customers into ubersmith?
Also, does your asp service allow complete automation? What I mean by this is, user signups, ubersmith charges user, then it auto-creates a cpanel/whm account.

anything that has authorize.net supports PP. There is no difference at all.

hi all,
we are currently putting the finishing touches on our ubersmith/plesk integration. When it's done you'll be able to enter a client into ubersmith and have their account setup directly on your server. You'll have all the functionality of plesk from within ubersmith.
As for mbill importing, i'm not sure. If you can get a data file from your program we can probably work something out.

Does ubersmith have any features that allow customers to signup and it will then charge the customer using a compatible merchant and then add his account details to the ubersmith database?
modernbill does this very well, if ubersmith has this I might consider it.

This has quickly become our most requested feature. On our development white board, it's in big block letters with a circle of stars around it.
It is currently planned for version 2.0. We are now in the final testing phase of v1.8 and we will beginning work on 2.0 once that is out.

FYI - you can use either URL if you are PP merchant. We use the ensim customer billing manager and it sources the authorize.net URL and our PP account works just fine.
